Karen Adams is an Atlanta-based artist whose creative work spans over 30 years. She began her formal training as a child, ultimately earning an MFA from the University of Georgia, including study in Cortona, Italy. Karen is both a painter and draftsman, working in oils, pastels, charcoal, and mixed media. Her work has won numerous awards at juried shows and is in private and corporate collections across the country. Her paintings and drawings exude energy and playfulness, and are celebrations of figure, landscape, line and color.

UGA Alumni Art Exhibition

The UGA Alumni Association in conjunction with the McDonough Arts Council and Lamar Dodd School of Art, presents a showing of fine art by UGA alumni artists.
